Chris Clark is a South Florida artist whose path started with a hand-picked green Stratocaster and a determination to learn everything by ear. After cutting his teeth at high school talent shows and local restaurant gigs around Miami, he formed alternative metal band No Traffik in 2012 and began building a reputation for high-energy, emotionally charged sets. The band's 2014 EP All Lanes Open led to larger stages, including an appearance at SunFest 2016 opening for Evanescence and Saint Asonia. Along the way, Chris earned multiple Miami Oski Awards, including Best Rock Band, Best Solo Artist, and Best Male Vocalist, and completed two U.S. tours. Today, he continues to evolve — fronting his rock band Good Rabbit and pushing his melodic, genre-crossing sound forward.

Chris Clark's story begins in South Florida with a first green Stratocaster pulled from a small shop in Miami — an instrument that became both compass and classroom. Without formal training, he taught himself to write, sing, and perform, gravitating toward mellow, melodic, earthy, and grunge-leaning sounds that felt as honest as they were heavy.

Those early songs moved quickly from bedroom to stage. Clark started out at high school talent shows and restaurant gigs across Miami, learning how to read a room, hold a crowd, and turn a set list into a story. In 2012 he formed alternative metal band No Traffik, a project that gave his writing a louder, more aggressive outlet while still keeping melody and emotion at the center.

No Traffik's 2014 EP All Lanes Open marked a turning point, earning regional attention and putting the band on larger bills. In 2016 they stepped onto the SunFest stage, opening for Evanescence and Saint Asonia — a moment that validated years of DIY hustle and sharpened Clark's drive to push further. The band's momentum continued with two U.S. tours in 2019 and 2020, as Clark developed a reputation for intense, engaging live performances that moved easily between raw power and quiet vulnerability.

Along the way, the Miami Oski Awards recognized that trajectory, honoring Clark and No Traffik with Best Rock Band (2017), then celebrating his solo work with Best Solo Artist (2019) and Best Male Vocalist (2020), coinciding with the release of his solo EP No Man's Land.

Today, Chris Clark stands at a new creative chapter. The same mix of resilience, wide-ranging influences, and crowd-focused performance now flows into newer, heavier, and more melodic music — and into Good Rabbit, the South Florida rock band he fronts. Whether leading a full band or delivering stripped-back sets, Clark's focus remains constant: honest songs, powerful live connection, and a sound that feels as lived-in as the stories behind it.
